S.A.F.E. Event Support
The heart and soul of Embark/PCA’s Volunteer & Intern Program is our volunteer trainings. Volunteers participate in a variety of trainings designed to build skills specific to the volunteer’s task, recovery interests and needs, including volunteer orientation training. Trainings incorporate transformational language and elements to enhance volunteer’s self-esteem, strengthen their recovery, and build their recovery capital. Interns set their schedules and work with our teams.

RCO Development
A recovery community organization (RCO) is an independent, non-profit organization led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery. These organizations organize recovery-focused policy advocacy activities, carry out recovery-focused community education and outreach programs, and/or provide peer-based recovery support services. Embark/PCA is actively seeking to support and encourage the development of an RCO in every County in Colorado. We believe the profiles of these organizations will differ from rural to agricultural to urban counties.
